Wellness Days Pilot Program

Wellness Days Pilot Program

Student Life, Northeastern’s Student Government Association (SGA) and student organization Active Minds are excited to continue the pilot for the “Wellness Days” program which began in Summer 2, 2022.

In furtherance of student mental health and general wellbeing, a Wellness Day provides students with an excused absence from class sessions which meet that day. This gives students the ability to attend to personal circumstances and efficiently informs their relevant instructors at once.

How does a Wellness Day Work?

The Wellness Days Pilot Program gives Boston-based, non-CPS undergraduate students registered in the Summer 2024 term the opportunity to select a Wellness Day.  Students registered for a course in Summer 1 and/or Full-Summer are eligible to select one Wellness Day during the Summer 1 term. Students registered for a course in summer 2 and/or Full-Summer are eligible to select one Wellness Day during the Summer 2 term..
